Marching Back Update Graphic

Faculty, Staff, and Students,

We continue to be excited as we prepare for a safe and healthy return to campus. In preparing for your return, we hope that you are quarantining, getting a COVID-19 test, and planning safe travel back to Helena. Here are a few other reminders and things you need to know as you return to campus.

COVID-19 Testing Upon Return
All students will be required to test as they return to campus. Carroll College will be using a new method for testing this spring semester which is easier to administer and provides faster results. Test results are available in 24 to 48 hours.

This protocol is intended for the collection of the normal saliva that naturally pools into the mouth. No coughing or sniffing prior to sample collection is required. Water should be avoided 10 minutes prior to collection. Other drinks, food, and nasal sprays should be avoided for 30 minutes before sample collection.

Testing will take place on Monday, January 18, and Tuesday, January 19, at the following times and locations:

On-going Testing – Everyone
Starting on Monday, January 25, faculty, staff and students can be tested on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9-11:30 am in the Wellness Center. Additional testing opportunities will be communicated in coming days.

Athletes that are in-season will be required to test according to the testing protocols set by the NAIA, Frontier Conference, and Cascade Conference.

Other Campus Procedures
Later this week, we will be sending an email about improvements in dining, some reminders from the Residence Life staff, and other necessary information. Teams have also been working to ensure that we are ready for any students who need to isolate or quarantine and that we have services to support those students.

Enjoy your last week of winter break,
