$500 Scholarship Program
Here at Pet Parents, we care about pets and their people. Not only are we committed to creating only the highest-quality products to enhance the lives of furbabies everywhere, but we also believe in giving back to the communities we serve. That’s why we are pleased to announce a new scholarship program to assist pet parents and animal lovers in achieving their educational goals.
What Is The Scholarship Amount?
This scholarship program will provide an award of $500 to one deserving undergraduate or graduate student. The funds can be used for any education-related expenses.
Who Is Eligible For The Scholarship?
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be age 16 or over and have a high school diploma or GED. In addition, you must be accepted by or enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or graduate school in the United States.
How Do I Apply For The Scholarship?
To apply for the scholarship, you will need to submit an original essay by email on the topic of personal development (see details below). The application can be submitted by email any time before December31, 2019.
Here are the steps to apply for the scholarship program:
- Write a 750 to 1000-word essay describing a significant experience in your life that influenced your personal development. Describe the experience in detail, and show how your life was changed or shaped by it. Use a 12-point font and double-space your essay.
- Submit your essay on or before December31, 2019. To submit, save your essay as a Word document (a .doc file) and attach it to an email to scholarships@petparentsbrand.com. Please be aware that we will not accept any other file type or shared document.
- In your email message, please include your full name and contact information (including phone number and physical address), and the name of the school you attend or plan to attend.
- The winner will be announced on or before January 15, 2020 and notified by email. If we don’t receive a response before January 31, we will select a new winner from the same pool of applicants.
How Will The Essays Be Evaluated?
We will review all essays personally and judge them based on originality, creativity, and overall quality. Be aware that any essay containing plagiarized material will be automatically disqualified.
