“Mesothelioma Cancer Victims Memorial” $2500 Scholarship.
There are two $2500 scholarships available with a November 22nd deadline. It is open to any freshman enrolled, or who will be enrolled, in a 2 or 4 year institution this year. Entries for this scholarship are in the form of either an 800-1250 word essay or 2-3 minute YouTube video about how mesothelioma or other cancers have impacted a student and/or their loved ones. Scholarship winners will be announced on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.
With an estimated 3,000 new diagnoses of mesothelioma cancer per year, its impact is felt for a lifetime by tens of thousands. The Baron and Budd attorneys have been dedicated to fighting for the rights of mesothelioma victims and their loved ones for four decades and this scholarship is a way to honor the victims and their families' legacies.
