Alarm Systems Calgary $500 Annual Scholarship

Application Requirements

1. Applicants must show proof of acceptance into an accredited university or college. Technical colleges are acceptable as well.
2. The applicant must show proof of a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Individuals who have opted to take a GAP year following high school must provide the last GPA in school and meet the 3.0 GPA requirement.
3. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED

Application Process

1. Submit an essay of at least 1,000 words and not more than 1,500 words to jon@alarmsystemscalgary.ca
2. Creativity is encouraged, but profanity and vulgarity are not permitted.
3. The essay should showcase an understanding of the English language, excellent grammar, a thorough understanding of the topic, and the ability to communicate industry jargon in a manner the average layman understands.

Selection Process

1. Entries must be received by midnight ET June 1, 2019. Any entries received after this time will not be considered.
2. The scholarship will be announced on or after June 15, 2019.
3. The winner must provide proof of acceptance into the school of choice.
4. Notification takes place via e-mail. In the event the winner does not respond within 14 days of the date of this email, a new winner will be chosen.
