About

I graduated from Carroll College in 2024 with a Bachelors in Health Sciences, along with Minors in Public Health and Psychology. My time at Carroll was deeply impactful and provided a strong foundation for the work I’m doing today. The college’s emphasis on critical thinking, service, and interdisciplinary learning helped shape my understanding of health as a combination of physical, mental, and social factors.

While at Carroll, I served as an officer in the Health Sciences Club during my senior year, which allowed me to connect with peers, promote health education, and take part in service initiatives that extended beyond the classroom. During that same year, I also began an internship at Ascent Behavioral Analysis, a local clinic serving children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. That internship led to a job opportunity, and I’ve continued working at the clinic ever since.

I’m now enrolled in the Master’s program in Applied Behavioral Analysis through the Florida Institute of Technology Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). As a BCBA intern at Ascent, I’m currently gaining fieldwork hours required to sit for the BCBA board exam. My role involves working closely with children and their families, implementing evidence-based interventions, tracking behavioral progress, and collaborating with a team of professionals to promote meaningful, lasting improvements in quality of life.

Carroll College provided me with more than just an education. It gave me a strong foundation in service, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. I’m proud to carry forward the knowledge, values, and experiences I gained there as I take the next steps in my professional journey. I’m especially grateful to the incredible professors and staff at Carroll who supported, challenged, and inspired me along the way. Their guidance made a lasting impact on both my academic and personal growth, and I carry their lessons with me every day.
