Melissa earned her Master's Degree in Nursing Education at University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University, Phoenix, Arizona. Her background includes over 13 years at Mayo Clinic Arizona working in the Intensive Care Unit, Post Anesthesia Care and Pain Management. Melissa spent over 2 years as a RN Team Leader in the Pain Clinic. She was also heavily involved in nursing education and hospital-wide initiatives and the development of new protocols and processes.
Melissa's other interests include baking, hiking, and creating new adventures with her husband Josh and four boys.
