~ Style Weekly
Dr. Gray performs nationally as a tenor soloist, premiering new operas and musicals, while also sustaining the legacies of traditional favorites. Most formatively during his early professional career, Dr. Gray had the honor of performing under the batons of Metropolitan Opera conductors and coaches Steven White and Shelby Rhoades, former Chicago Symphony and Boston Lyric Opera conductor Anthony Barrese, and Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Zoe Zeniodi. Most distinctly, Dr. Gray was highlighted nationally on NPR for his historically informed performance of The Sailor in Dido and Aeneas.
