DAF Day is October 8
On Thursday, October 8, 2026, join donors across the country in celebrating DAF Day by recommending a grant from your donor-advised fund to Carroll College.
Your DAF gift can help provide the opportunities, experiences and support that help Carroll students learn, grow and lead.
Choose the Carroll College Fund you’d like to support and after “proceed to payment” select DAF Pay.
What is a Donor-Advised Fund?
A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a charitable giving account established with a sponsoring organization. You contribute to the account and may then recommend grants to eligible charitable organizations, like Carroll College, over time.
If you already have a DAF, giving to Carroll can be as simple as logging into your DAF account and recommending a grant or making a gift on our online platform www.carroll.edu/give now and after proceeding to payment, select DAF Pay.
DAFs are offered by a variety of sponsoring organizations, including community foundations and charitable sponsors such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable and Vanguard Charitable. The specific rules and procedures can vary by sponsor.
How to support Carroll through your DAF
1. Log in to your DAF
Sign in to the website or app for the organization that sponsors your donor-advised fund.
2. Search for Carroll College
Look for:

Please use the information provided by your DAF sponsor if its system displays a different address or designation.
3. Recommend your grant
Choose the amount you would like to recommend and select the Carroll College Fund or area you wish to support.
You may choose to support an area that is especially meaningful to you, such as The Carroll College Fund, the Saints Scholarship Fund, academics, athletics or another program or initiative.
4. Submit your recommendation
Your DAF sponsor will review and process the grant recommendation according to its policies and procedures. Carroll will receive the grant according to the sponsor's process.
If you choose to identify yourself with your grant, Carroll can thank you directly for your generosity.
A donor-advised fund can make charitable giving convenient by allowing you to organize your philanthropy through one charitable account.
Depending on your circumstances and the rules of your DAF sponsor, DAFs may offer:
A centralized way to manage charitable giving and records.
- The flexibility to recommend grants to eligible charities over time.
- The ability to recommend recurring grants.
- The option to recommend a grant anonymously, depending on your DAF sponsor.
- The ability to contribute certain assets to a DAF, subject to your sponsor's policies.
