COMMENCEMENT WEEKEND - MAY 12-13, 2017
Two-hundred and sixty-eight Carroll College Saints will be receiving their diplomas this weekend as part of the class of 2017. A number of events are scheduled for Friday and Saturday to honor and celebrate our graduates.

Schedule of Events
FRIDAY, MAY 12
10:00 a.m., Capitol Rotunda
Five of Carroll's graduating cadets will take their oaths of appointment and become commissioned Second Lieutenants in the United States Army. Montana Lieutenant Governor Mike Cooney will be the guest speaker. Faculty, staff, students and family are invited to attend. Read more.
10:30 a.m., St. Francis of Assisi Anthrozoology House
(corner of Lyndale Ave and Park Ave)
The Anthrozoology program will be celebrating their graduating seniors with brunch refreshments and pastries. Faculty, staff, students and family are invited to attend. Read more.
Purple & Gold Alumni Reunion
2:00 p.m., Registration, St. Albert's Hall
Join us in welcoming back the classes of 1967 and 1957 for the Purple & Gold Reunion. Activities are planned throughout Friday & Saturday with registration beginning Friday at 2:00 p.m. Check out the schedule of events here.
3:00 p.m., Steps of St. Charles & Alumni Walk
Seniors! Join your classmates for the President's Toast to the Class of 2017, followed by the Unveiling of Bricks. This event will begin on the steps of St. Charles and will move to the Alumni Walk near St. Al's. Graduates will also fill their class time capsule. Families are invited. Read more.
5:30 p.m., Carroll PE Center
Each spring, Carroll College holds a pinning ceremony as a symbolic welcoming of newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession. The 2017 Nursing Recognition (aka "Pinning") Ceremony will begin with an informal cake reception in the lobby at 5:30 p.m. and ceremony in the gym starting at 6:00 p.m. Faculty, staff, students and family are invited to attend. Read more.
SATURDAY, MAY 13
Baccalaureate Mass
10:00 a.m., Cathedral of St. Helena
On the morning of graduation, the Cathedral of St. Helena hosts a Baccalaureate Mass to celebrate our graduating seniors. Due to limited seating in the Cathedral, admission to Baccalaureate is by ticket only. Additional seating is set up in the lower level of the Cathedral in the Brondel Center, where the Mass will be simulcast and Communion will be distributed. Doors to the Cathedral open at 8:30 a.m. Read more.
Commencement Brunch
11:30 a.m., STAC, Campus Center 
Commencement Brunch for graduates, families, and guests is offered at the Carroll College dining hall. Tickets must have been pre-purchased by Thursday, May 4. 
Commencement Ceremony
2:00 p.m., Carroll College PE Center
Carroll College will hold its 2017 commencement ceremony in the PE Center with 268 students graduating. Carroll alumni from the classes of 1957 and 1967 will also be honored. Due to fire code regulations at the PE Center, guest tickets will be required for the 2017 commencement ceremony. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to select suitable seats.
