Portrait of Cassie Hall

Cassie earned her Bachelor of Arts with a major in International Studies (Latin America track) and a minor in Spanish from the University of Washington in 2005, graduating Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She went onto to earn a Master of Arts in Education with a higher education policy focus from Claremont Graduate University in 2011. Cassie was a proud member of the Husky women’s soccer team during her undergraduate career, earning First-Team Academic All-Conference honors her junior and senior year. During her graduate studies, she was a Bowen Institute Fellow and her master’s thesis was featured in Inside Higher Ed and the American RadioWorks podcast.  Cassie worked for eight years in admissions and academic advising at the University of Washington, Scripps College, and St. Mary’s College of Maryland before coming to Carroll College in 2013. She enjoys walking her dog Hutch (a Carroll graduate from the Anthrozoology program), gardening and quibbling over home improvement projects with her husband Eric Hall (Associate Professor of Philosophy and Theology), and laughing with her three spirited young children.
