Professor Bethalee Schoyen joined Carroll College’s faculty in 1987 and currently serves as the Business Department Chair. A native of Michigan, Beth's educational background includes a BS in Education (History/Political Science), an MA in Political Science, a MS in Administration with a concentration in Personnel and Labor Relations, and an MBA. With this diverse background, Beth teaches a variety of courses in the management and international areas.
In addition to college teaching in Michigan and Montana, Beth's prior experience includes recruitment and retention in hospital settings. Beth holds membership in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and also provides consulting outreach to the community. She served as Carroll College's Faculty Dean for 3 years. Beth has been very active in Carroll College's study abroad program and has taken a number of students - both novices to international travel and experienced travelers - on approximately 20 trips to over 9 different countries.
Beth's hobbies include travel, reading, handgun shooting, and taking care of her pets.
