Dr. Leslie Angel is the Department Chairperson of the Psychology Department. She is an Associate Professor who completed her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology: Animal Behavior at the University of Montana in Missoula and her M.A. in Cognitive Psychology, with an emphasis in Psychology and Music. She has been teaching at Carroll since 2009. Her current research interests include comparative cognition, particularly metacognition and self-control, as well as education in sexual health and well-being. Courses taught: General Psychology, Learning, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Human Sexuality, Physiological Psychology, Brain & Behavior, and Canine Science. Outside of work she loves to ride horses, hike, cross-country ski, and travel with her husband, Bill, and their two dogs.
