Math Debate: The Greatest Algorithm

Math Debate: The Greatest Algorithm graphic
Thursday, November 21, 2019 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Join us Thursday, November 21 at 7:00pm in the Simperman Hall Wiegand Amphitheatre as Dr. Kelly Cline takes on Dr. Ted Wendt with the question:  "What is the most important algorithm of all time?" Part of our ongoing math debate series.

An algorithm is a process, a method for solving a problem.  Computers are run by algorithms, which we use to schedule our plane flights, buy things online, and predict the motions of the stars.  Come for this fun and exciting public debate where we will decide one and for all what is the most important algorithm of all time.
