The Student Employment Job Fair will be held on Sunday, August 21st from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in the lower cube of the Campus Center. This Job Fair will provide interested students with an opportunity to meet with supervisors and submit applications.
Please visit Carroll’s web page, carroll.edu/employment and click on “employment applications” to print the Student Employment Application. Complete the application and then make several copies to bring with you to the fair. You will need to provide a copy of each of these forms to the hiring supervisor for each position for which you apply.
Student job openings for fall semester are being posted on our website, www.carroll.edu/employment as they become available. To view open student positions click on:
- “Student Jobs” listed on the left side of the screen, then
- “Select Job Category” will show, click on student from the drop down list, from there you can view job descriptions and contact information. If you do not have access to the Internet and would like to obtain a listing of available student positions, please contact me. Remember, you apply directly to the supervisor or contact person noted in the position-opening announcement.
Once you are offered and accept a student job, you and your supervisor complete the Student Authorization Form. The Student Authorization Form is available on Carroll’s web site, carroll.edu/employment under “employment applications”; this form is also available from the Office of Human Resources, Room 212, O’Connell. You complete the top Student Information, your supervisor completes their section and this form is returned to me in Room 212, O’Connell.
If you are a returning student and continuing in the same work-study position you had last year it is still required that you complete the Student Authorization with your supervisor. Please complete the Student Authorization as soon as possible to secure your position for the new academic year. Submit the completed form to me in Room B, O’Connell.
I am glad to offer assistance to help you secure a work-study position. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at (406) 447-5504 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
