Part-Time Assistant Director, Bookstore & Print Services

Description: Carroll College, a private, Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana is seeking an Assistant Director for the Saints’ Shoppe (Store) and Print Services.  This is a part-time, non-exempt position that provides critical oversight in the management of the Faculty Adoptions Insight Portal, the student-facing virtual bookstore, and in the provision of copy/print services to the campus as well as being the primary backup to the Director representing the store in the Directors absence.  

Primary duties performed include being the liaison and facilitator of the textbook adoptions process between faculty and the store’s book buying partner; managing the student facing virtual bookstore from the colleges side; assisting students with questions and concerns regarding their textbooks; textbook research for outdated titles and editions; and managing copy/print services by maintaining sufficient copy/print supplies, scheduling machine maintenance, and processing copy/print requests for the campus.

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will be a high school graduate with some college preferred.  Exceptional customer service skills, retail sales and merchandising, basic accounting knowledge, computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, some supervisory or leadership experience, familiarity with and aptitude for technology – preferably with copier and printer machines, and a strong ability to communicate with people in diverse positions and levels of authority in a variety of communication forums.
