The Director of Teacher Education and Chair of the Department of Education administers the daily work of the Department, manages and substantially contributes to the creation of documentation required for state and national accreditation of its Teacher Education Program, and ensures that the Department is in compliance with all regulations relating to its work. In addition to administrative duties, the successful candidate will teach six credits a semester in fields of expertise and departmental need. Four full-time and several part-time faculty departmental colleagues and an administrative assistant work in coordination with the Director of Teacher Education and Chair of the Department of Education.
