Description: Carroll College, a private, Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana is seeking a Director of Career Services. This position serves as a member of the Saints Success Center, and is responsible for the management of Carroll College’s internship program, career related events, employer relations, and the overall professional preparation of students for their entry into the workforce or graduate school.

This position includes managing current programs and connecting with businesses and organizations to generate experiential learning opportunities regarding internship and professional experiences. The Director of Career Services works closely with academic departments and faculty to create, improve, and implement career readiness, in and out of the classroom, and to expand the internship and professional opportunities for students.  

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred, and at least three years of relevant full-time career or employer services work, including progressive management experience with program development, evaluation, and budgeting. The successful candidate will be dedicated to student success, understand and appreciate a liberal arts education and how it fits into the world of work, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, exhibit professionalism, and demonstrate the ability to successfully collaborate with and engage faculty, administrators, employers, and students.  The successful candidate will also have experience with Office suites (Microsoft Office, G Suite), presentation software, spreadsheets, and web-based software. Experience with the career services platform, Handshake, is strongly desired.
