Duties and Responsibilities: This position will work under the supervision of the Athletic Facilities Coordinator. The primary responsibility will be to perform general cleaning duties within the Carroll College Athletic Facilities following events.  Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, bleachers, and carpeting;
  • Picking up trash through the facilities and removing trash from the buildings;
  • Taking down and storing equipment;
  • Resetting space for everyday use;
  • Securing doors and the building;

Work days coincide with athletic events dates and are most often Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  Hours of work most often are evenings after 8:30 pm except for some early Saturday evening hours.  Hours per event will range from 2 to 3 hours.  Dates of already scheduled events through December are 9-23, 9-24, 9-30, 10-1, 10-22, 10-26, 10-28, 10-29, 10-30, 11-1, 11-4, 11-21, 12-1, 12-9, @12-10.  Additional dates could be added.  Several events take place in January, February, and March.

Employment Specifications:  Work-Study preferred, but not required

Length of Employment:  Academic Year

Wage Rate:  $10.00/hour
