Description: Carroll College, a private, Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences to begin in August 2023.  We seek a broadly trained biologist with a strong commitment to teaching at a predominantly undergraduate institution. The primary teaching responsibilities for this position are General Microbiology (BI 214) and Microbiology (BI 305) and associated labs.  Other teaching responsibilities may also include courses in the introductory sequence, upper division courses in area of specialty, or writing-intensive research courses in area of specialty.  This is a full-time, tenure-track position in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences. Qualifications: The successful candidate: will have earned a Ph.D. in Biology or a related field; will have a demonstrated ability to teach Microbiology; will be open to using a variety of high impact teaching practices; will be expected to engage undergraduates in research opportunities and will be committed to fostering an educational environment committed to equity and inclusion.
