Assistant Professor of Health Sciences

Carroll College, a Catholic, coeducational and comprehensive liberal arts college in Helena, Montana, invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position, to begin in August 2017. We seek a candidate with previous teaching experience and a strong commitment to teaching at an undergraduate institution. Primary responsibilities include teaching health sciences and public health courses, supervising student interns, and participating in advising/administration of the Health Sciences Department. Successful candidates should have expertise or significant interest in several of the following areas:  health research methodology, epidemiology, global health issues, health systems delivery, environmental public health, or health policy. Interest in developing an undergraduate research program is desired. The successful candidate will have earned a Doctorate in a health-related field by August 2017, and will possess exceptional written and oral communication skills. Individuals from a wide variety of health-related backgrounds will be considered. Recent hires have included individuals with degrees in epidemiology and microbiology.
