Technology Support Center
The Help Desk is located in the Technology Support Center in Room 26 on the main floor of St. Charles Hall. They can be reached by telephone at (406)447-4357 (HELP), online at https://helpdesk.carroll.edu, or in person. Their hours are Monday thru Friday (except holidays) 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.
The Help Desk can assist with WiFi connectivity, software updates, technology troubleshooting and more. It's recommended for students to bring their devices to the Technology Support Center to receive one-on-one assistance with their issue.
CCIT encourages students to pursue warranty repairs for hardware related issues on personal computers. If you need your computer repaired there are many reputable repair stores in Helena. Some are near campus and offer special pricing for students. Contact the Help Desk at (406)447-4357 (HELP) if you need assistance with finding a repair location.
Tech Saints are CCIT-trained student technology specialists, and they work as part of the Technology Support Team to assist with a variety of technical needs. Such as WiFi connection assistance, printing assistance, and more.
Recommended Computer Systems
- Windows 10
- Mac OS 10.15 (Catalina) or newer
A laptop is highly recommended. A laptop with wireless connectivity, and purchased within the last two years will work on our network. A tablet system, although useful for many situtations, may not be sufficient for specific academic programs or specific coursework.
