Hammock Therapy
12/12/2022 - 9:00am to 12/15/2022 - 10:30am The Carroll Theatre Department and Theatre Club would like to invite you to come take a load off during finals week, with Hammock Therapy! A huge thank you to Student Activities for purchasing the 4 hammocks that we own now and a huge thank you to Sabrina Malacek, owner of BumbleBee Aerial Fitness for letting us use 4 of her hammocks and teaching us how to use them properly. We will have various slots open throughout finals week for students, staff and faculty to come in and hang in a silk hammock. You are welcome to study or just take a little nap. Hammocks are not to be used for swinging or tricks. There will be 8 silk hammocks hung throughout the week and you can come chill for 1/2-1 hour depending on availability. Since space is limited, we do ask that you keep your time limited to 1/2 hour unless no one is waiting and then you can hang longer. The hammocks are first come, first serve and can only be used when a monitor is available. The times available right now are below. More times may be added throughout the week.

12/12/2022 - 4:00pm to 4:45pm Carroll College will be celebrating the Mass of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the All Saints Chapel on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. The Mass will be celebrated in Spanish and it will include traditional Spanish songs. "Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe" is a popular Catholic feast that celebrates the belief that a man encountered the Virgin Mary, Mexico’s patron saint, in Mexico City on December 9 and 12, 1531. 12/12/2022 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm Pizza in the Library! As is tradition, Dr. Cech will be bringing pizza to the Corette Library as a Finals Week treat for students. The pizza will be ready to grab at 5:00pm on Monday, December 12th. ASCC President Ellie Sievertsen will be joining him. We will be ordering 80 pizzas, setting a new record for the largest order, since our previous record order of 40 pizzas disappeared within minutes.
