Online 7:00pm #WETOO Speak Out 02/17/2022 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm We Too Speak Out: Stemming from the “Me Too” Movement, students from Carroll College will be reading personal testimonies from anonymous submitters about their experience of sexual harassment and sexual assault. The Carroll College Choir will also be performing the song “Quiet” by MILCK. Thursday, February 17th, at 7:00 PM in the Upper Cube. Carroll Campus Campus Center Upper Campus Center 7:00pm Play: Grounded 02/17/2022 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm Grounded is a play by George Brant that explores the effects of drone warfare on the pilots who operate them. In collaboration with Merlin CCC, we also be having community discussions on these issues with a particular focus on the philosophical areas touched upon. Carroll students are entitled to discounted tickets.

Carroll Campus Campus Center Flex Theatre 7:30pm Theatre: The Hijabis 02/17/2022 - 7:30pm to 9:00pm Carroll Theatre presents The Hijabis by Rohina Malik. Runs February 17-27, 2022. Best friends Maya, Nadia and Leen are doing their best to live their mid-20s dreams in the small town of Payneville, Illinois. And while life after college isn’t what any of them expected, they remain united in their struggles by their love for ice cream, their penchant for laughter, and their commitment to wearing their hijabs as a reflection of their faithfulness to God. But when their local mosque is desecrated by other members of the Payneville community, how they choose to respond will change the course of their lives. Associate Professor Kim Shire will direct. This production is part of a series of plays commissioned by Big Bridge Theatre Consortium on the topic of interfaith dialogue.
