About Voice For the Kids

Voice For The Kids was founded on the idea that with proper support in confronting trauma, children can discover for themselves that their trauma is not what defines them. With proper support, we believe children can find empowerment through the reclamation of their voice and the discovery of their own resilience. We believe that when children have the courage to come forward to speak their truth, it is our responsibility not only to listen, but to do everything in our power to provide them with appropriate access to justice and healing.

Sasha Joseph Neulinger, the founder of Voice For The Kids, is a “survivor” of Child Sexual Abuse. But Sasha believes survival is a bar set too low. Survival can be a chapter, but he believes there is so much more to life than just surviving, and his life is proof of that.

The Flex Theatre is presenting a play this weekend entitled "She Persisted" and consists of 8 scenes from plays by female authors that are student-produced. It runs 12/2, 12/3, 12/4 at 7:30 pm.  It is a pay as you will event with proceeds going to the Carroll College Theatre Club meaning we will be accepting donations but there is no set ticket price.

This Friday, wear your Carroll gear! This is your opportunity to support the football team as they make a run in the playoffs, or your favorite Carroll team, club, or campus group/activity.

The Wellness Center will be holding a flu shot spot on December 3 in the Upper Cube from 11:30AM - 1PM.  They are $20.00 and can be paid by card, cash, or check, or students may charge their accounts. This is a great time as you will be covered by the time you head home for Christmas Break. Your family really doesn't want the flu. We are still giving shots in the Wellness Center if you can't make it.

On Saturday, December 4th, the CC String Ensemble will be performing at the Festival of the Trees at Helena's Civic Center from 11-11:30 am.

Join the Carroll College Choir, Chamber Choir, and String Ensemble, along with soloists and special musicians for: Alpha & Omega: A Concert for Christmas on Sunday, December 5th, at 2:00 PM in All Saints Chapel.

Experience classic carols, radient a cappella selections, and exciting contemporary gospel arrangements in one of Helena's most beautiful acoustic spaces! This concert is free and open to the public.

We offer mass at 7 p.m. in All Saints Chapel on Sunday nights! All welcome.

Learn how to play an online game with the E-Sports Club without being put straight into a playerbase filled with experienced gamers! These bootcamps will allow students to learn how to play a game with other people who are in the same circumstances. We will have a few experienced players in the room to allow for ample learning capacity for students wishing to understand the game's tactics and strategies. Once you understand most of the core concepts of the game, we will have a few scrimmages to allow the players to get some experience with the game. The first bootcamp for a game will be open to the public, and any future bootcamps for the same game will be exclusively reserved for e-sports club members.

CC.MPWRMNT club members will have a table in the Cube and a donation box outside of the Friendship Center Office (Borro 133) to collect donation items for the Friendship Center - they are in need! The donation box will be out all of next week 12/6-12/10 and members will have a table set up in the Cube from 10:30-3:00 on 12/7.

We want to give back to our community during this time of the year! These donations will be presented to the Friendship center on 12/13 from CC.MPWRMNT.

Cor is a Campus Ministry formation group for men in order to ask questions and explore issues that are relevant to their unique take on life. We meet every Tuesday that classes are in session from 5:50-7:00 p.m.

Cor's default location is the Campus Ministry Center in the Upper Cube's Maronick Boardroom.

We will be celebrating the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception Mass Wednesday, December 8, at 5 pm in All Saints Chapel.

Carroll is honored and blessed host members of Bridget Kirby's family as they pray with us as we continue to grieve and support one another. Please note: In respect of her family's wishes, this mass will NOT be another memorial service for Bridget Kirby. After the mass, there will be a time to talk and share with one another and remember Bridget. Also, in the chapel's gathering space there is currently a basket where cards of encouragement or support can be dropped off.  We'll be sure to give those to the family during their time on campus. Bridget's parents are Maureen and Pat and her brothers are Robert, Tim, Tom, and Michael. There are cards available in the gathering space or feel free to bring your own. I know that the family appreciates our words and especially our prayers as they grieve.  

Bridget's parents and numerous other family members will be in attendance and are very thankful to have a chance to pray with the Carroll family and express their gratitude for the support they have received from so many here on campus. They have a great love for Our Lady and thought the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception would be a fitting day to come together. Please note, this Mass will take the place of our normal 9:30 pm Wednesday night Mass.  Bishop Vetter will be the principal celebrant.

As part of the process of grieving and eventual healing, it is good to come together in worship and let the Lord continue to strengthen us with His faith, hope, and love.
