Cor/Via are separate Campus Ministry formation groups for both women and men so that each gender can ask questions and explore issues that are relevant to their unique take on life. They both meet every Tuesday that classes are in session from 8:30-9:30 p.m.

  • Cor's default location is the Maronick Board Room in the Campus Center.
  • Via's default location is the Campus Ministry Center (below the Chapel).

Every Wednesday night Intramurals will have open availability for anyone who wants to play lawn games! We will have spike ball nets, cornhole boards, dodgeballs, ultimate frisbees, basketballs, soccer balls, etc. available for use!

We'll be using the Guad practice fields or HAC Gym depending on weather.

Telling Stories One Scientist to Another: Lab Girl and Carroll College's Women in Science

You are invited to celebrate the NEA Big Read Kickoff! Dr. Jennifer Glowienka will host a conversation with six of Carroll College's esteemed women in science. They'll explore themes from "Lab Girl" by Hope Jahren, this year's NEA Big Read choice by the Lewis & Clark Library. Topics will include the funding scene for science, experiences in labs around the country, and favorite stories about living their dreams. This fun and interesting discussion is free and open to the public. The panelists will be:

  • Dr. Caroline Pharr, Associate Professor of Chemistry
  • Dr. Julie Kessler, Assistant Professor of Chemistry
  • Dr. Stefanie Otto-Hitt, Associate Professor of Biology
  • Dr. Theresa McHugh, Assistant Professor of Biology

The Carroll College Gaming Club invites you to an evening of Adventurers League. Played according to the rules of 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons, we will be running community-based modules from 6pm to 10pm on October 4th in the Trinity Lounge. We will have
pregenerated characters, but if you want to make your own, some of our Dungeon Masters will be available starting at 5pm to help you do so.

New players are welcome and are encouraged to attend! Dice, character sheets, and pencils will all be provided, all you need to bring is your sense of adventure.

Club level seats are priced at $310, while Section D tickets are $160. Section C and E will be available for $80. A Saints Athletic Association membership is required to purchase Club Level seating.

Tickets are on sale online, at the PE Center front desk, or over the phone at (406) 447-4480 and can be purchased between 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. during weekdays.

Theatre Auditions: Maria and the Butterflies

Maria and the Butterflies auditions for leads.

Our final show of the season is a first for Carroll College! We are commissioning this play to tell the story of a female scientist. It is titled: Maria and the Butterflies. This musical is by Katherine Gee Perrone with musical score by Dana Cardon, running April 17-26, 2020. This show is about Maria Sibylla Merian, a painter and scientist from the 1600's who studied and illustrated the metamorphosis of bugs and butterflies.

This hour long play will be our TYA production of the year. We will host audiences for school day matinees as well as weekend performances for the public. Kim Shire will be directing.

Texas Holdem Tournament

Prizes will be given to the first person out and the top 3 players. The winner will receive the coveted champions bracelet. Also the winner's name will be put on the esteemed Texas Holdem Tournament Trophy (in the HAC) where their name will be recorded in Carroll history as one of our top Texas Holdem Tournament players. 

There is no cost or buy-in.  Show up in the Upper Campus Center at 6pm and we will give you your chair and chips. Blinds will go up every 15 min.
