10/03/2022 - 12:00pm to 12:30pm

Blessing of the Animals will be Monday, October 3 at 12:00 p.m. by the Sladdich fountain.

Come celebrate St. Francis of Assisi and how animals bless our lives. The animals on campus will be blessed by Father Marc. Any student with an animal is welcome to bring their animal to get blessed.

The Feast of St Francis of Assisi in the United States is on October 4. The feast commemorates the life of St Francis, who was born in the 12th century and is the Catholic Church’s patron saint of animals and the environment. It is a popular day for pets to be “blessed”. All are welcome to this annual event on campus, please practice social distancing.
