Sexual Assault presentation

The Sigma students want to invite Carroll students to the SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners) presentation at 6:00pm on Wed. April 14. April is sexual assault awareness month and Sigma, the nursing honor society, is hosting Gina Gassman, RN, trained sexual assault nurse examiner to discuss the care necessary for victims of sexual assault. If you are interested, the event will be available via Zoom.
Panel: COVID-19 and Racial Justice

This panel will discuss racial inequalities in healthcare, alongside other racial disparities and injustices in the United States, especially in relation to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our society. What can we do better?
Panelists include Jamie Dolan, Eric Meyer, Soumitree Gupta, Daniel Pocha, and Grant Hokit.

This panel discussion will take place in person for the Carroll Community in the Simperman Wiegand Amphitheatre and will be simultaneously streamed on Zoom for the broader public.
ASCC Senator App Deadline

Please consider running for an ASCC Senate position in your student government. These important student government positions help form the policies and procedures of Carroll College. Be a part of important conversations and represent your fellow students as you discuss and vote on important issues.
There are four ASCC Senators per class, and two non-traditional senators. The ASCC Senate is the legislative body of the student government. The Senate exists to provide discussion and proper responses regarding student issues and affairs while considering the input of Carroll College students, administration, and the greater community of Helena. The ASCC Senate is responsible for making final decisions on Bills of Legislature brought to the Senate floor. Senators represent not only their classmates but Carroll College as an institution and community. Senators are charged with the responsibility to act in the best interest of their classmates and Carroll College.
