A tryout clinic will be held Saturday, April 28, 3-6 p.m. at The Helena Athletic Club (3340 McHugh Ln in Helena). The Saturday clinic will include instruction on material: cheer, sideline dance and some stunting and time for tumbling review. The tryout will also include a personal interview. Required attire for tryouts includes black spandex and a fitted plain athletic top in either black, white, purple, or gold. Final team rosters will be posted within an hour of the conclusion of tryouts. Team roster will consist of a maximum of 16 girls. Boys are encouraged to try out as well and would be in addition to the 16 girl spots.

Theatre: The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid graphic

04/22/2018 - 2:30pm to 4:30pm

We will finish our season (April 20-30) with Disney's beloved The Little Mermaida full length musical based on the animated 1989 animated film of the same name and the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen. Set under and above the high seas, The Little Mermaid tells the story of Ariel, an adventurous young mermaid who’s got a thing for disobeying the rules and following her heart. Ariel’s fascination with the human world often leads her to the sea surface, a zone that’s designated as “off-limits” by her father Triton, the sea king. One day while sneaking to the surface, Ariel witnesses a shipwreck and rescues Prince Eric, with whom she become instantly smitten. Furious at Triton’s inability to understand her love for the prince, Ariel runs away and strikes a deal with Ursula, Triton’s evil witch of a sister, to experience the life she dreams of on land. Will the two worlds find a way to see eye to eye?

Night of the Talking Saints

Graphic for Talking Saints

04/29/2018 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Come join us for a night with the Talking Saints! The team members would love your support. Most often they perform in empty classrooms, with sleepy grumpy judges.

Starring: Teigen, Amber, Becca, Kelsie, Michael, Josh, Luke and Tori!

Extra enticement: Cookies and lemonade to soothe your soul after the students stir your heart.

Parental heads up: Topics are timely, including race, class, gender, mental illness, The Women's March and the #MeToo movement. Mostly PG-13, with a few immodest, OhMyGosh words, scattered here and there.

Oh, not to mention a touching tale of an autistic boy who dreams of meeting his idol, Chad Everett, star of the TV hospital drama, "Medical Center." Hankies provided.
