Fully-funded study abroad opportunities

Did you know that there are many opportunities for fully-funded graduate school, teaching, or research abroad -- for high-achieving students? As you enter your Sophomore or Junior Year, we invite you to come to an information session to learn about the many various prestigious awards and fellowships for which you might be eligible to apply. Please join us for this information session, in St. Charles Room 110, Feb. 7th  from 12:30 - 1:30 pm. Feel free to bring your lunch!

The Carroll College Enactus and the Helena Food Share are spearheading a food drive for the Bruin Pantry, a Helena Capital High School program that provides supplemental resources to students with an unmet need. Bring an item from the list below during the Carroll basketball games verses Montana Tech on Wednesday, February 7.

Pantry Items need to be individually wrapped, single-serving, and not require refrigeration. Any donations of these types would be greatly appreciated! Food items most needed include:

  • Oatmeal
  • Cereal
  • Pop-Tarts
  • Microwaveable Meal-in-a-Can Items
    • Ravioli/SpaghettiOs
    • Chef-Boy-R-Dee
    • Soups with pull tab openings
  • Cup-O-Noodles
  • Easy Mac
  • Fruit Snacks
  • Granola/Cereal Bars
  • Trail Mix
  • Jerky
  • Apple Sauce
  • Fruit Cups
  • Pudding
  • rackers/Pretzels/Cookies
  • Cheese/Peanut Butter Crackers

Capital High typically has 30+ students utilizing the Bruin Pantry food bag program, while we have 250+ students participating in the free/reduced meal program during the school day. If you are able to help us in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.

About the Bruin Pantry

The Bruin Pantry is a Capital High School program that provides supplemental resources to students with an unmet need. Resources available include food bags (for evenings, weekends, and school breaks), toiletries, school supplies, etc. The Bruin Pantry is dependent on generous donors in our community. Any individual or organization wishing to contribute to the Bruin Pantry, may donate pantry items, make monetary donations or provide Costco gift cards to the CHS Counseling Department.
