Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,
With Halloween this weekend and finals quickly approaching, now is the time to remain diligent about COVID-19 precautions. Cases on campus continue to decline, but Lewis and Clark and the surrounding counties continue to experience significant outbreaks.
Through the rest of the semester, we are encouraging students to limit their off-campus trips and to make sure to follow public health guidelines when at home or on campus.
HAC and PE Center Reopening
The Hunthausen Activity Center will reopen on Thursday, October 29, following the protocols previously in place to limit the spread of COVID-19. The PE Center has also reopened following the check-in and other guidelines which had previously been in place. In-season athletes are required to have a COVID-19 test on a weekly basis.
Dining Open on October 29
The STAC will resume distanced, in-person dining on Thursday, October 29. In addition to seating in the STAC, tables will be placed in the lobby of the CUBE for students to use while dining. As a reminder, the STAC hours of operations are:
STAC Hours M-F:
- Breakfast 7 am - 9:30 am
- Lunch 11 am - 1 pm
- Dinner 5 pm - 7 pm
Weekend:
- Brunch 10 am - 12 pm
- Dinner 5 pm - 6:30 pm
Jazzman’s and Tres Habaneros will resume regular hours starting Monday, November 2:
- Jazzman's 7 am - 5 pm
- Tres Habaneros 9 am - 7 pm
Meeting and Visitor Clarification
With the recent rise in cases in Lewis and Clark County, Carroll College is still under the meeting and visitor guidelines set forth in the Marching Back Plan. We are in Phase 2, but by recent order of Lewis and Clark Public Health, the number of individuals that can attend an event is capped at 50. All campus events must follow these guidelines, and faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to conduct meetings and regular business using remote technology when possible. Visitors are allowed on campus but must follow all of the physical distance, mask, and other guidelines specified by Lewis and Clark Public Health.
Testing
Starting on Monday, November 2, students and faculty/staff will have the same testing times and locations. All asymptomatic students, faculty and staff can be tested at:
Wellness Center: Monday 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm, Tuesday 9 am - 12 pm
PE Center: Monday and Tuesday, 12 pm - 2 pm
