Kids' Chance of MONTANA Scholarship

The mission of Kids’ Chance of Montana is to provide scholarships for college, university, and vocational education to children of Montana workers who have been killed or seriously injured in a work-related accident.

Eligibility Requirements

A student between ages 16-26 who is the dependent of a parent or guardian who suffered a work-caused fatality or catastrophic injury. The applicant must have a high school diploma, GED, HiSet, or be a high school student in good standing (who will graduate in the current academic year).

Kids’ Chance of MT recognizes that students experiencing such family hardship may not have the high school academic and extracurricular performance indicative of their potential. Kids’ Chance of MT considers the family circumstances and positive attributes of the applicant to award scholarships to students with proven resiliency and determination to achieve their post-high school education goals.  Scholarship proceeds must be used for tuition, fees, room and board, books and required supplies and will be paid directly to the educational institution. Scholarships may be renewed.   Kids' Chance of MT awarded 11 scholarships ranging from $1,000 - $3,500 for the 2021/22 school term - with your help, we can help provide more money for more kids.

Will you please help share  Kids' Chance of Montana Scholarship information with colleagues, communities, and potentially eligible students --- the application deadline for the 2022/23 school year scholarship is quickly approaching!
