From March 31 to April 3, 2014, five Carroll College students competed in Cincinnati, Ohio with over 200 Enactus teams from across the nation. Accompanied by faculty advisor Annette Ryerson, students Tyler Skidmore, Lauren Larsen, Justine Songey, Jenessa McElrath and Allie Reynolds formed the Enactus Carroll College team to compete in the 2014 Enactus U.S. National Competion. From each national competition one team was selected to represent their country at Enactus World Cup 2014 in Beijing, China.

Enactus Carroll has engaged in an incredibly productive year thus far, with ten active members and projects that have brought benefit to the students as well as both Helena and Carroll communities. Carroll Enactus will be competing based upon the outcomes of three grants they received during the 2013-2014 academic year.

Let's Can Hunger grant from Campbell's Soup Company was successfully fulfilled by collecting over 5,000 pounds of food for the Helena Food Share. Their most memorable day was the Super Bowl Food Drive Competition at Van's Thriftway in Helena.

Stepping up for Small Business grant was rewarded by Sam's Club and gave the students the opportunity to work with several women owned small businesses in the Helena community.

Finally, Walmart issued the Women's Economic Empowerment grant which gave the students the opportunity to form the foundation for a lasting relationship with Florence Crittenton.
