Carroll College chemistry majors Jessica Baker, Matthew Rosman, Meghan Benda, and Nathan Bollar (left to right) volunteered to do four weeks of "Kids College" at Kessler Elementary School on Wednesday afternoons. For this program, the students worked with small groups of K - 3rd grade students (Nathan and Matt) and 4th - 5th grade students (Meghan and Jessica).
The activities involved looking at acid-base reactions using colorful indicators, experimenting with density, and making liquid nitrogen ice cream!
