The purpose of the Hartford Technology Rental Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students at the Junior and Senior level who are concentrating in the study of Information Technology.
The amount of the scholarship is $1,000 and it will be awarded two times annually.
Two recipients of the scholarship will be awarded each year May 15th and December 15th.
The eligibility requirements are:
- Financial background: Consideration for this award will be given to all full time, undergraduate Junior and Senior level students from all economic backgrounds. Further consideration for this scholarship will be based on the following selection criteria: the recipient must be a resident of the United States; must provide verification of full-time attendance at a US not-for-profit university; must be attending college on a full time basis; and must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4 scale (4 on a 5 scale).
- This award is limited to students at a full-time, not-for-profit, four year US university.
- Limited to students majoring in information technology or an IT related field.
- The applicant must be attending college in the United States and be a US citizen.
- Applicants must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4 scale (4 on a 5 scale) for all academic years preceding the year of the award grant.
- Application deadlines are April 30, 2018 and November 30, 2018. Winners will be chosen on May 15, 2018 and December 15, 2018.
