- Submit your enrollment deposit.
- Apply for financial aid.
- Register for classes.
- Sign up for housing and meals.

I just got my first-year student welcome packet!
Welcome to Carroll – we are excited to see you on campus! The information and links provided here are intended to assist you in accessing your computer network account, your class schedule, and your financial information. Please follow Steps 1, 2, and 3 below using your Welcome Packet as a guide. If you have questions or cannot locate what you are looking for, please contact the appropriate person listed in the column to the right.
Step 1. Activate your Carroll Network Account:
Activate your account using the information found on lower half of page 6 in your Welcome Packet. Change your temporary password and enroll in the Thycotic Password Reset Service. Note: the activation process has changed since the packet was published, so the screen appearance will differ from what is shown in your packet. This one account provides access to your Carroll email, your class schedule on MyCarroll, course materials on Moodle, the Saints Student Account Center, and other network services such as printing on campus. Once you have completed the enrollment, you can log out of the Thycotic Password Reset Service and access your Carroll College email here.
Step 2. Access Your Schedule in MyCarroll (the Safari browser will not work for this step):
Note: the Safari browser does not work well with MyCarroll. Please choose another browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome to activate your account and access MyCarroll.
- After completing Step 1 above, go to MyCarroll
- Sign in with your user name and password
- Select "Web Advisor for Students" on the left menu
- Select "Students Academic Profile" on the left menu
- Select "My Class Schedule"
- Select the appropriate semester from the dropdown and select "Submit"

Step 3. Activate your Student Financial Account:
Once you set up your Carroll Network Account you will be able to sign into the Saints Student Account Center to:
- View Your Account Activity
- Make A Payment
- Set Up Authorized Users
- View E-Payments

Move in day for new students is Thursday, August 24. If you are a first-year student, be sure to check in at Guadalupe Hall for access to your room. If you are a transfer student living on campus, please check in at Trinity Hall for access to your room. Also, plan to attend the New Student Orientation on Friday, August 25 and Saturday, August 26. All Carroll first-year students take a 3-credit course called Alpha Seminar (LAS 101) which is designed to introduce the distinctive practices and values of a Catholic liberal arts education. Honors Students take HNR 150 in place of LAS 101. Your Alpha/Honors professor serves as your academic advisor during your first year. Each year a common summer reading is selected for our First-Year students - in 2016, All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr was selected. The Fall 2017 book will be selected soon. Please pick up a copy of this book and complete this reading assignment before you arrive on campus for Orientation in August. More information.
Montana state law requires proof of immunization before you can begin classes. The Immunization Records form can found in your Welcome Packet or online here. Please complete the demographic section on the front page and alsocarefully read the immunization sections and either send proof of all required immunizations or have the immunization section filled out completely with all the required immunizations by a health care professional. Don’t forget to sign on the back page before submitting. The Wellness Center is closed June and July but you may contact Kerri Rigsby with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org (the best option) or 406-447-5438. Kerri checks her messages often.
Carroll offers support services upon request to students with learning or other disabilities. If you wish to receive services, please complete the Application for Support Services for Students with Disabilities and provide documentation at least 30 days before the start of the semester, if possible. View account activity, make payments, and manage student accounts online at the Saints Student Account Center. See instructions for logging onto Saints Student Account Center and an explanation of the features on pages 7-10 in your Welcome Packet, including thehandy Student Account Checklist to make sure you are ready to go for the fall semester.
NOTE: In order for anyone other than students to view and/or make payments online, the student MUST set him/her up as an Authorized User. Review your online account weekly! Questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 406-447-5419.
Beginning August 1 students may purchase books online at the Carroll Bookstore website. Start with “Buy or Rent Text Books”, select a Campus Term (Fall 2016), select a course, class and section and the book will appear with ISBN, Author, Title. You will need your class schedule to proceed.
For first-year students, roommate/housing assignment letters will go out via Carroll email from the Community Living Department the first week of July.
Transfer students - If you would like to live on campus, make sure you submit your housing application form to the Office of Admission ASAP. Housing assignments will be mailed in July and August.
And finally – Make sure you send us a FINAL copy of your high school transcript, AP/IB scores, and any college transcripts so all of your academic records are on file at Carroll when classes begin in August. Students without final transcripts on file will be unable to register for subsequent semesters.
