Installing MathReader 4 for the Macintosh

To install MathReader 4 for the Macintosh, follow these steps.
  1. Verify that this file was un-BinHexed correctly. You can use StuffIt Expander to un-BinHex the file manually.
  2. Double-click the resulting installer application to install MathReader 4 on your computer.

Note: If you already have Mathematica 4 installed, you do not need to install MathReader 4 to view Mathematica 4 notebook files. If you still want to install MathReader, you should note that all notebook files will be opened by MathReader 4 when you double-click them. Rerun the Mathematica 4 installer to have Mathematica 4 open notebook files by default. Drag the font suitcase found at  Mathematica 4 Files:SystemFiles:Fonts:Macintosh:MathFonts into your Disk:SystemFolder:Fonts folder.
