2008 DVD Sales
Hello students / faculty / curious web-goers!
As the end of the school year arrives like an unexpected aircraft crashing into our lives and social structures, so arrives a Carroll tradition: purchasing your very own DVD copy of the latest Charlies Film Festival in a celebration of shameless American capitalism. For the past three years it's been as expected as tricks and/or treats on Halloween, gifts on Christmas, and shameless attack ads likening rival politicians to Hannibal Lector, Satan, or Richard Nixon during election years.
This year, unfortunately, the DVDs aren't quite ready. Due to the spontaneous combustion of our main computer's technological organs, they won't be ready until the summer.
But don't fret! DVDs will still be sold this year via mail, and they look better than ever. For the price of $8, each DVD will include:
- This year's awards show!
- Interviews from before and after!
- All submitted Charlies films in their entirety!
- Me, cursing in front of my parents to a 500 person crowd!
So buy them! In droves! And Costco-style bulk!
To purchase a DVD, bring $8 (if check, made out to Carroll College) to either Patrick Harris or I (my information is at the end of this page) with the following information:
- Your name and contact information.
- The address you want the DVD sent to.
- Your favorite color.*
If you would like to purchase a DVD after school is already out, just send the $8 to Pat with a note describing what the money is for along with the rest of the information. Mail can be sent to Patrick at this (obvious) address:
