Ralph Esposito

Hello and welcome to my web page!

My background includes a BFA from the University of Connecticut in 1973 and an MFA from the University of Puget Sound in 1977. I came to Carroll College in 1978 and have been teaching and making art here since. My classes and personal work encompass drawing, painting and ceramics. I have worked in and taught digital art including graphic design, photography, video and multimedia and still find interest in those media. I was a resident artist at the Archie Bray Foundation during the summer of 1982 and I received a Fulbright Hayes Grant in 2008 for travel to Greece and Bulgaria. In 2012 I spent three months on sabbatical in China as a Visiting Artist with West Virginia University.

I also created and run the Carroll Art Gallery. The first and only dedicated space for the display of art on campus, it has been operating since 2002. We exhibit four shows a year including a Student Show. The current exhibit can be seen here:
