2008 Orientation Schedule for Parents

Thursday, August 21st

5:00 pm - Dinner in the Campus Center Dining Hall until 6 pm. Meal passes available at the Campus Center Information Desk

6:30 pm - Parent Session: Academic Issues - All Saint's Hall

7:00 pm - Parent Session: Your Student's Physical & Mental Well Being - All Saint's Hall

7:30 pm - Parent Session: In Case of an Emergency at Carroll - All Saint's Hall

8:00 pm - Welcome followed by entertainment in the Campus Center for whole family

Friday, August 24th

8:00 am - Breakfast in the Dining Hall, open until 9 am.
Meal passes are available at the Campus Center Information Desk

10:00 am - Campus tours meet at the Carroll Campus Center.
Nelson Stadium and PE Center tours meet in the PE Center

11:00 am - Lunch in the Dining Hall, open until 1 pm.
Meal passes are available at the Campus Center Information Desk

1:30 pm - Campus tours meet at the Carroll Campus Center.
Nelson Stadium and PE Center tours meet in the PE Center

2:00 pm - Parent Question & Answer Session - All Saints Hall

4:00 pm - Induction Ceremony-Carroll's President Tom Trebon and faculty members will
welcome all new students and their families to the Carroll community, PE Center.

5:00 pm - Welcome Barbeque for new students, friends, family, faculty, staff and Orientation staff at Nelson Stadium

6:30 pm - The Sending Forth Ceremony-A good-bye to parents as new students and their families are blessed, All Saints Hall in the lower level of the Campus Center.

Most parents leave campus Friday night. If you plan to be on campus on Saturday and want to have meals in the dining hall, meal tickets can be purchased at the Information Desk in the Campus Center. Please call me at 406-447-4380 if you have questions.
