Class of 2006 Highlights

Tom Godfrey, a political science major, is attending Notre Dame Law School. Fellow political science graduates Hanna Warhank and Chris Decker are becoming lawyers at the University of Montana Law School, and fellow poli-sci grad David Ticich is attending the National Pilot Academy flight school in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he is studying to become a commercial pilot.

Mathematics alumna Ying Zhu is pursuing her doctorate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Biology major Elise Pletnikoff is attending the University of Washington Medical School, and classmate Ellen Smith is at University of Washington pharmacy school. Biology grads Sara O'Connell and Jillian Bybee are earning their M.D.s at Creighton University Medical School. Allie Maffit, a biology and chemistry double-major, is an AmeriCorps volunteer.

Engineering graduates Kurtis DeShaw, Matthew Austin, Jeremy Grove and Ross Gustafson have begun their civil engineering careers at Morrison-Maierle's offices in Tucson, Arizona, and in Helena and Missoula, Montana.

Danielle Daehnke, a biopsychology major, has embarked on 27 months in the Peace Corps serving in Mali, Africa. Also entering the Peace Corps is community health major Sam Morton. Another community health grad, Kirstin Margaret Hagener, is earning her doctorate in physical therapy from the Mayo School of Health Sciences.

Business administration graduate Kurtis Paulson works as a producer for Western States Insurance in Whitefish, Montana. Finance and marketing major Elizabeth Henrich is employed in marketing at the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Montana. Business major Kendall Selle works as a credit manager at Wells Fargo Financial in Billings, Montana, and fellow business alumnus Ryan Buls is employed at American Income Life in Kalispell, Montana.

Maria Senden, a business management major, is a ballerina for Ballet Idaho.

Nursing graduate Cassie Leverson has been hired as a labor and delivery nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Washington. Lindsay Hart will also be working as a nurse at Sacred Heart in the pediatric oncology unit. Rachael Simons is employed as a surgical unit nurse at Seattle Children's Hospital.

Environmental studies grad Phil Kilbreath is a water safety officer for the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks.

Mary Beth Jager, a TESOL graduate, is working toward her master's in social work at Fordham University in New York City. Also pursuing a master's in social work is psychology major Linda Hoenigsberg at the University of Montana.

History graduate Jed Fox is studying to become an Episcopal priest at The General Theological Seminary in New York City. Fellow history major Lindsay Thompson attends Washington State University earning her master's in American and Middle Eastern History.

Education major Megan McGill is employed as a fourth grade teacher at Madeleine Choir School in Salt Lake City, Utah. Fellow education grad Patrick Rieley is the new athletic director at C.R. Anderson Middle School in Helena, Montana, and elementary education alumna Ines Zerbato is studying for her master's in TESOL at Seattle University.

Chemistry and math major Lucas Meuchel is working toward his Ph.D. in immunology at the Mayo Clinic's Graduate School in chemistry. Fellow chemistry grad Sheena Strohmayer is at Oregon State University earning her Ph.D. in chemistry, and classmate Adrienne Udelhoven is attending pharmacy school at the University of Montana.

Accounting alumna Ashley Stark works as a financial control specialist with the Student Assistance Foundation. Fellow accounting major Eric Romero is an accountant with the State of Montana Department of Transportation.
