Augustine reading: The Essential Augustine, pgs 48-57.

In your analysis do three things

1. Give a summary -- overall and brief -- about what happens in this passage from begining to end. Main topics, points, issues. keep this to no longer than one page, typed, single-spaced.

2. Identify and present any arguments you discover in the course of the reading. Identify the conclusion of the argument and the premises (reasons offerred) to support that conclusion.

3. Pick one of the arguments you identified and say whether you believe that conclusions follows from the premises and whether the premises are true/reasonable to believe.
