Long Range Plan. Goal 3 - Enhance Library building and grounds
(IC5; ES 1)
- Objective 1: Repair or replace library heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) with a functional system giving attention to proper temperature, humidity and dust control by 2008.
- Task: Work with Facilities Management.
- Objective 2: Establish an annual maintenance contract with a fully certified exterminator in 2002-03.
- Task: Meet with head of maintenance
- Objective 3: Install at both lobby entrances fully automatic doors, which meet ADA standards by 2005.
- Task: Meet with head of maintenance
- Objective 4: Replace furniture with more appropriate furnishings by 2004.
- Task: Identify budget funds
- Task: Select the furniture
- Task: Review ACRL standards and calculate library requirements
- Objective 5: Develop a schedule for repainting library interior, replacing flooring and window coverings and making other interior enhancements by 2004.
- Task: Meet with head of maintenance
- Objective 6: Continue to develop a plan to study the use of space in the library by 2005.
- Task: Identify problem areas, areas of future growth
