Merit based awards are financial assistance that are awarded based on other criteria outside of financial need.
2008-2009 ACADEMIC AWARDS
New Freshmen Students
- Presidential Scholarship: $10,500
- Trustee Scholarship: $8,500
- All Saints Award: $6,500
- Founders Award: $4,000
New Transfer Students
- Presidential Scholarship: $6,000
3.5 to 4.0 GPA - Trustee Scholarship: $4,500
3.0 to 3.49 GPA - All Saints Award:$3,000
2.5 to 2.99 GPA
Academic scholarships and awards are guaranteed through degree completion as long as you remain in good academic standing. Institutional gift aid is available for fall and spring semesters only and is not available for study abroad programs.

DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
The Diversity Scholarship is awarded to outstanding students with significant ethnic and/or cross-cultural experiences entering Carroll College Fall Term 2008. The awards range from $1,000 to $3,000 and are renewable up to four years. Specific details and applications are available in the Financial Aid Office, or download the Diversity Scholarship Application here .
FATHER JOHN SLADICH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Father John Sladich Memorial Scholarships are awarded to new Carroll Students. These scholarships are applicable toward full time tuition at Carroll College. The scholarship is renewable up to four years as long as the recipient remains in good academic standing. Preference in selection will be given to an enrolled member of a Montana Native American tribe. If an applicant from Montana is not available, then a Native American from outside the state of Montana will be considered. FAMILY ALLOWANCE SCHOLARSHIP
The Family Allowance Scholarship is $1,000 per academic year ($500 per semester) to each immediate dependent family member who is attending full-time during the same year. Families need to fill out an application every year in order to be eligible.

PARISH SCHOLARSHIP
Students active in a Catholic parish within the Diocese of Montana may apply for the Parish Scholarship through their own parish. Applications are available at the parishes and the scholarship amount is $500. This award is a first year only scholarship.

ROTC SCHOLARSHIPS
Carroll College is one of over 270 schools around the nation that hosts an ROTC program.
Carroll College Army ROTC offers full-ride Army ROTC scholarships. Currently we have 12 students attending Carroll College through this program.
Our scholarships are an approximate $30,000 yearly value. They cover 100% of tuition, fees, a $900.00 book allowance, and a monthly stipend ranging from $250.00 to $500.00.
We have 2 Year through 4 Year versions available for all academic disciplines. Please contact Bill Ballinger at 406-447-5484 or bballinger -is-at- Carroll -dot- edu for application and eligibility details. These scholarships are available for both current and new Carroll College students.

HONORS SCHOLARS PROGRAM
Students accepted to the Honors Scholars Program receive a $500 per year bookstore voucher.
