St. Peter's Hospital is offering a variety of life saving classes, beginning in May:
Heartsaver CPR/AED (automated external defibrillator) is intended for employees, daycare staff, babysitters and family members.
Thursday, May 7, 6 -10 p.m.  
HealthCare Provider is intended for nurses and other healthcare professionals who provide care to patients in a variety of settings.
Thursday, May 21, 6 -10 p.m.  
HeartSaver First Aid teaches students how to recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive.  
This class is for ages 8 and up. Thursday, June 11, 6 -10 p.m.  Cost for all classes mentioned above is $40.  
Heartsaver CPR & HeartSaver First Aid Combination class teaches both basic CPR. Saturday, May 23, 8:30 am - 5:00 p.m. Cost is $70.  
All classes are at St. Peter's Hospital.

St. Peter's Hospital CPR and First Aid training is offered through the American Heart Association. All CPR classes include teaching for procedures on adults, infants and children. Certification is current for two years in CPR and in First Aid.

The St. Peter's also provides classes for groups, with 6-10 students. For more information, contact , or call 444-2135.  Registration is necessary at www.stpetes.org.
