What: "Passport to Living Like a Saint"
When: Fall Semester
Where: Carroll College
The Carroll College Employee Wellness Committee has launched "Passport to Living Like a Saint" for the fall semester! This program is designed to promote a well-rounded approach to health. You do not have to be a top notch athlete or an extremely healthy eater to participate. This program will help kick start your healthy lifestyle as well as earn you some prizes.
"Passport to Living Like a Saint" is a point system program with three different divisions; beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The groups are determined by total points earned and participants will be put in a division once the program has completed. Each division will have a grand prize of $250. The recipient of the prize is NOT who earned the most points. Anyone that earned points in the divisions is eligible for the prize. Also, there will be periodic drawings for Capital Sports gift certificates, Jox Sox, Yak Trax, and pedometers.
"Passport to Living Like a Saint" is designed to help promote healthy practices in all areas of health and wellness. Fitness and nutrition are not the only areas in which a person can be unhealthy. We must also look at our emotional and spiritual health. These areas impact lives more than they seem. All of these areas require participation in order to be well-rounded and holistic health. "Passport to Living Like a Saint" will guide you through each area with the point system.
The Wellness Committee launched the first phase last spring and distributed booklets throughout the campus community. We have produced more and distributed them for the second phase. If you would like us to print a Passport and send it to you, please contact Renee Hill at 447-5501/rhill -is-at- carroll -dot- edu -or - Rachel Chamberlain at hrcws -is-at- carroll -dot- edu.
