
We will be going to Ibague, Tolima Colombia (200 Km outside Bogota) and working with the organization "Let's Go Volunteer" helping homeless children.

What you should bring to Ibague!
Pack light and don't bring any unnecessary clothing or items of high sentimental value. Bring clothes that you might be willing to leave behind. Be prepared to wear the same garments multiple days throughout the trip. You might also want to bring along a journal or notebook so that you can reflect upon and write about your experiences.
Here is a list of items you might consider bringing:
A backpack
A rain jacket
1 Formal pants/dress
1-2 jeans
4-5 t-shirts
1-2 shorts
swim suit
Towel
2 long sleeved shirts
1 cap/hat
sunglasses
1 fleece
Sandals and sports shoes
hiking shoes
small flashlight
a journal
Camera
Money Belt
A padlock and cable lock (for your backpack, in case you travel and stay at hostels)
Sewing kit
Alarm clock
Personal medical aid kit:
- sun block
- diarrhea pills
- band-aids and bandages
- antihistamine
- Asprin
- Insect repellent
- antiseptic cream
Photocopies of all documents and place them apart from the originals
