The Montana Conservation Corps is currently recruiting Crew Leaders for the 2004 field season. We are looking for candidates interested in utilizing their leadership potential to serve Montana's environment and communities.

The Montana Conservation Corps is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities to young men and women to serve their community and improve the environment while enhancing their skills. This winter we are hiring Crew Leaders for the 2004 season. Crew Leaders participate in our 3-month Leadership Field Institute where they develop skills to lead summer project crews. Training includes both technical skills sucks as Advanced Wilderness First Aid, trail construction and maintenance techniques, chain-saw usage, Leave No Trace camping as well as leadership skills like intructor judgment, group development and teaching methodology. The MCC is dedicated to training future leaders for tomorrow's communities.

Our season begins February andn runs until the middle of November. Members receive a living stipend and a $4725.00 education award as participants in the AmeriCorps National Service program. Leaders will also recieve health benefits as AmeriCorps participants.
