Some people believe that a seven hour wait in line for any film is preposterous, not us Star Wars people. George Lucas is back in a major way and has managed to deliver with the second installment of the Star Wars prequel trilogy "Episode 2: Attack of the Clones." Although the title seems outright corny, it covers what the movie actually is, an attack story. The film hits on all cylinders and in all the right places, even those who are not avid Star Wars fans should thoroughly enjoy this movie. Attack of the Clones has a lot to offer, a love story, action, and more visual effects than you can shake a lightsaber at. The plot is well conceived and the parts are very well acted, especially those of Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan Mcgregor) and Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman). Without giving too much away, the story follows the development of the clone army by the caminos, their model for cloning being Jango Fett (Boba Fett's elder). The majority of the film focuses on Obi-Wan's chasing of Jango, and the love story of Amidala and Anakin. I refuse to give up any more of this film for those who have not seen it yet, however, I can guaruntee satisfaction to most, if not all, who attend a screening of this picture over the weekend, I am definately seeing it again. It is time for Spider-Man to take a back seat, Episode 2: Attack of the Clones is worthy of 4 stars, for bringing back the good old-fashioned fun that was used in the original trilogy.
