2008: Sammy was our starting Outside Hitter and team MVP last season. We look for her to continue with her impressive play as she enters this season. Last year she earned 2^nd team All-Conference outside hitter. She ranked 2^nd on the team in Kills (224), kills/game (2.11), passing (.940), digs (234), and digs/game (2.21). She had numerous matches of double-double (kills and digs).
