Dear Visiting Athletic Trainer:
The Sports Medicine staff at Carroll College would
like to welcome you to the upcoming competition
against the Saints. We hope to make your stay in Helena as pleasant as possible.
The athletic training room is located inside the Physical Education (PE) Center Room 200. The PE Center is located between Benton Avenue and Nelson Stadium. The athletic training room and staff will be available during training room hours, two hours before any scheduled competition, and four hours before football games. If you need additional access to the athletic training room please make arrangements by contacting the athletic training room. If your team is traveling without an athletic trainer and specific treatment is required please contact us prior to your team’s arrival.
You will be responsible for sending your own supplies, as well as treatment and modality scripts. Modalities cannot be performed if not accompanied by a signed script from an ATC or a physician.
The following modalities will be available for use: ice, hydrocullator packs, ultrasound, muscle stimulation, and whirlpools. Event items include: ice bags, ice water, cups, crutches, vacuum splints, spine board, and biohazard equipment.
A certified athletic trainer will be present at all competitions and a team physician will either be in attendance or on call for further assistance.
