In her eight seasons as head coach, the volleyball program has accumulated a 163-95 record, making it to the NAIA Regional Tournament in both 2005 and 2006. In the 2006 season Coach Boyle led the Saints to a Frontier Conference tournament title and advanced in the NAIA Regional Tournament, only one game away from playing for the regional championship. Also in 2006, Coach Boyle coached three All-Conference players. In 2007, the Saints had two All-Freshman team selections and one All-Conference player. In 2008, the team included four All-Conference selections and one All-Region selection; the Carroll volleyball squad was also awarded with Academic All-American team status and lost in the conference semifinal to eventual champion Lewis and Clark State College. The 2009 campaign was highly successful, resulting in a Frontier Conference regular season championship. Coach Boyle received Coach of the Year honors for her efforts. The team included eight academic All-Americans and one NAIA All-American. The 2010 campaign boasted five academic All-Americans, five All- Conferences players and one NAIA All-American. In 2011, Kathleen Mulligan was named Freshman of the Year and Elli Graff was Newcomer of the Year in the Frontier Conference. The Saints also had two First-Team All-Conference and two Second-Team All-Conference players as well as one being named to the All-Region team.
This past season, Graff’s efforts resulted in an honorable mention nod on the NAIA AllAmerican team. The Bozeman High graduate led the Frontier Conference in blocks per set (1.4) and was third in hitting percentage (.279). She led Carroll with 332 kills and 195 blocks. Graff also headlined a group of four Saints--Emma Priddy, Karla Hellegaard and Natalie Stewart being the others--to be named 2012 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes.
Prior to coaching at Carroll, Coach Boyle spent ten years coaching in the Montana high school ranks. This included five years as an assistant coach at Helena Capital High School, where she worked with current Carroll assistant Mike Burk, and five seasons as the head coach at Flathead High School, where she led the Bravettes to their first ever Montana state title in 2001. In 2002, she took the helm of NCAA Division III Beloit College in Wisconsin. Posting a 3-27 record the year before she arrived, Coach Boyle guided Beloit to a 26-12 record in her final season, earning her Midwest Conference Coach of the Year nominations in 2003.
Coach Boyle is married to Cal Boyle. They currently reside in Helena with their son Keiran and daughter Mollee.
